No joke.

This was posted on a discussion board about the volcano in Island. No joke!

"I believe the great glacier melts coming from the Arctic and Antarctic are makingthe seas heavier, and thus putting a greater amount of weight on the sea floor -- also the continental plates. At the bottom of the oceans, water is heavy and even a small increase of weight could pressure the plates into uncharacteristic movements. That may be what is causing the increase of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions witnessed this Spring. Of course I hope that's not true, and that we are able to get control of global warming."

Any scientista want to chime in an discuss this?
